Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Guide: Open Sky Titan

Open Sky Titan - Preparation:

The Open Sky Titan, Bombirdier, is your second encounter with a Titan Pokémon. Bombirdier is a Flying/Dark type. The recommended level from the table in the beginning is level 19. Since it is a Flying/Dark type, you will want to use Rock, Fairy, and Electric type attacks.

Open Sky Titan - Location:

Lets make our way to the Open Sky Titan. Fly back to Cortondo, then start heading west out of the town. Head up the path, right up on the left, you will find some Potions. Right after this you can battle the trainer there. He will have a level 14 Fletching (Normal/Flying type). After that, follow the path, around the bend, then on your right will be another trainer. This trainer will have a level 14 Shuppet (Ghost type).

Follow up the path, pick up the Great Ball on the left. Once again, follow the path, all the way until you see another trainer. Right before him, will be an item on the left, an Antidote. Now battle the trainer, who will have a Venonat (Bug/Poison type). Right after this is a picnic table where you can rest and talk to the person to get some ingredients. Right after that, on the right, is an X Speed. Now go all the way along the path until you cross a bridge. Right after crossing it, take a left in the grass along the river. Go all the way until you see an item to pick up, a Max Ether.

Now head back to the way you came and make a right on the path. There will be another trainer here, who has a level 14 Foongus (Grass/Poison type). Keep going, a bit further on the right is a Rare Bone. Right up the road is a Pokémon Center. You can rest up here if you need. Once you are ready, keep going along the path until you reach a fork in the road. Here is a trainer, they will have a level 15 Meowth (Normal type). After defeating them, head north and pick up the Super Potion on the right side.

Keep heading north, there will be 3 turbines on your right. Follow the path that leads to the second one, where you will find an Antidote. Then follow the path to the third one where you will find a Rare Candy. Now right at the bridge is another trainer, he will have a level 15 Pineco (Bug type) and Nymble (Bug type). Now head back slightly and visit the picnic table. Get some more ingredients, heal if you have to, then you are ready to head up the hill where Bombirdier awaits.

Open Sky Titan - Battling Bombirdier:

As you head up the hill, you will have to dodge boulders rolling down the hill. Once you have made your way to the top, a cutscene will play. Like I said before, you will want to use Rock, Electric, and Fairy attacks to quickly defeat Bombirdier.

Once you defeat it once, it will go into a nearby cave and power up with Herba Mystica. Now you will have to battle it again with Arven helping you this time. Defeat it again the same way you did the first time, then a cutscene will once again start.

Open Sky Titan - Reward:

This cutscene will show you and Arven walking into the cave to get the Bitter Herba Mystica and make a new sandwich. Once you give it to Koraidon/Miraidon, you will unlock the ability to ride it across water. And that is it for the Open Sky Titan, congratulations! Now it's time to take on the Team Star Dark Crew Base.
