Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Guide: Team Star Dark Crew

Team Star Dark Crew is next in our guide for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. If you have been following along, this will be the first Starfall Street challenge that you take on.

Team Star Dark Crew - Preparations:

So before taking on the Dark type Team Star Crew, you will want to make sure that your Pokémon are level 21 as that is the level recommended for this challenge. You will want have Pokémon on your team that know Electric, Rock, Bug, or Fighting type moves.

Team Star Dark Crew - Location:

Once you are ready to get going, you will want to make your way to the bridge right past the picnic table from the previous challenge, the Open Sky Titan. The nearest Pokémon Center is West Province (Area One) Central. Once there, cross the bridge. The path will split into 2, go in the grass in between the 2 paths and battle the trainer there. She will have a level 20 Oinkologne (Normal type) and a level 20 Luxio (Electric type).

After that, keep following either path until they meet back up, where another trainer will be. He will have a level 15 Eevee (Normal type). Now keep following the path and you'll find another trainer on the left, a little kid, who will have a level 16 Teddiursa (Normal type) and a level 16 Tinkatink (Fairy/Steel type). Now follow the path to the Pokémon Center, picking up the Clear Amulet right next to it. Rest up if you need, then if you have been following this guide and battled all the trainers mentioned, you can talk to the Pokémon League Rep to get your reward.

Next keep going along the path until you get to another fork in the road. Pick up the Great Balls on the left, then take the path to the right. You can pick up the X Special Defense right before the gates. Now you can talk to the grunts outside the gate and a cutscene will ensue. You will get more information on Team Star's Dark Crew, then you will have to battle one of the grunts who has a level 19 Murkrow (Dark/Flying type).

Team Star Dark Crew - Star Barrage:

After defeating the first grunt, the other one will run in the base and alert everyone that you are here. You'll get a call from Cassiopeia, explaining the Star Barrage. Only the first 3 Pokémon in your party will be available to use so make sure you put those with the appropriate types to give you the best chance. Now you can take on the Star Barrage.

You will have to defeat 30 Pokémon using quick battles. You will only have 10 minutes to defeat all 30, which should be plenty of time if your Pokémon are of the recommended level and type. You can press R to send out your Pokémon. You can send all three at the same time if you want so that they can battle at the same time. You can talk to Clive to heal up your Pokémon or use the Vending Machines around the base to heal them. Once you have defeated all 30, Giacomo, the boss, will appear.

Team Star Dark Crew - Giacomo:

Giacomo will have two Pokémon, a level 21 Pawniard (Dark/Steel type) and a level 20 Revavroom Starmobile (Dark type). Once again, you will want to use Fighting, Fairy, and Bug type moves here. If you get defeated, you will not have to do the Star Barrage challenge again, you can rematch Giacomo straight away.

Team Star Dark Crew - Rewards:

After defeating Giacomo, you will get a Star Badge and TM62 Foul Play. You will also get 5000 LP and some crafting materials from Cassiopeia. And that is it for your first Team Star Base. Next up is the Levincia Gym.
