First on the list is the Stony Cliff Titan, Klawf. It is a Rock-type Pokémon and the first Titan Pokémon you will have to fight. After defeating a Titan Pokemon, you will unlock a new ability for your Koraidon/Miraidon. Each one will reward you with a new ability.
Before Fighting the Stony Cliff Titan:
If you recall the table from the beginning of the guide, the recommended level for this challenge is level 15. If you chose Quaxly or Sprigatito, you should have a fairly easy time with this challenge. If you chose Fuecoco, it will be a little harder to do with it, but you can catch Pokémon on the way that know grass, water, or ground type moves to easily defeat the Stony Cliff Titan.
The Stony Cliff Titan Location:
Now lets start making our way there. You want to leave Mesagoza from the east gate. You will see a picnic table on the left. You can find these picnic tables scattered throughout the region and you can think of them as mini Pokémon Centers. You can rest your Pokémon at these picnic tables to get them back to full health. Now speak to the person at the table and he will give you some ingredients. These ingredients are used in making sandwiches. If you want to learn more about sandwiches including the different kinds, abilities, ingredients, and recipes, check out our page on sandwiches here.
Next, go east and get the Potion sitting by the rock. Then further along the way is a Poke Doll. Close to this, you should see a trainer that you can battle here. She will have a level 11 Arrokuda (Water type). After defeating her, you can get a Potion on the right. Next follow the path until you see a sign that says "To Artazon, the Town of Nature and Art". Once at that sign, go southeast through the grass and around the mountain. Collect the Revive there, then head back to the sign where you should see a tree to the right. Get the Super Potion by the tree. Now follow the path north and you should run into another trainer. You can battle him, he will have a level 11 Starly (Normal/Flying type). After defeating him, follow the path to the left where you will slide down, then pick up the Great Ball. Now go back up, and behind the trainer you just fought, there should be a Zinc.
Now continue north and get the Energy Root, then more north where you'll find an Antidote and a X Speed. Then follow the path until you see the Pokémon Center. Here you should see another trainer, she will have a level 11 Igglybuff (Normal/Fairy type). Then after this, behind her is a Paralyze Heal. Now go to the Pokémon Center and rest your Pokémon. You can speak to the Pokémon League Rep if you wish but he will tell you the requirement for this area is to defeat 6 trainers but we have only defeated 3.
Now continue northwest and battle the next trainer who will have two Pokémon. A level 17 Jigglypuff(Normal/Fairy type) and a level 17 Skiddo (Grass type). Next continue along the path. There is a Hasty Mint that you can collect just after entering the new area and there is also another trainer for you to battle. He will have a level 12 Sunkern (Grass type) and a level 12 Bonsly (Rock type).
Here you can go northeast and pick up a Full Heal then a bit further a Rare Candy to the west. Now head towards the tower and get the Awakening. There should be another picnic table here where you can get more ingredients from the person and rest if you need to. Now head up the path to the left and pick up the Potion. Then drop down south and collect the Exp. Candy XS to the southeast, then get the Lemonade to the northeast. Now south of you should be a rock where you can find another Exp. Candy XS. Then to the east should be an Ultra Ball in the grass. Then to the north should be a X Defense by the rocks.
Now keep going north to reach the Stony Cliff Titan. Once you see it, you can follow the path to the right all the way until a cutscene starts.
The Fight Against the Stony Cliff Titan:
So like I mentioned in the beginning, if you chose a grass or water starter, you should have an easy time with this Titan Pokémon. And if you chose Fuecoco, hopefully you have caught some Pokémon along the way that have some grass, water, or ground type moves to help you. Using the correct type matchups will make all your battles a lot easier. After hitting the Titan Pokemon a few times, Klawf will move to the path below. Now you can follow it down and keep battling it until you've taken it down some more, upon which it will unlock a cave. It will go in the cave to eat a Herba Mystica and power up. At this point, Arven will appear and help you finish the fight.
The Stony Cliff Titan - Reward:
Once you have fully defeated Klawf, follow Arven into the cave. You and Arven will find Sweet Herba Mystica and use it to make sandwiches. You will then be able to feed it to Koraidon/Miraidon. This will unlock a new ability called Dash. This will allow you to dash forward while riding Koraidon/Miraidon.
Next up is the Cortondo Gym. Head back to Mesagoza and exit it through the west gate this time.
