Montenevera Gym is a Ghost type gym found at Glaseado Mountain.
Montenevera Gym - Preparations:
It is recommended that you level your Pokémon up to level 42 before taking on this gym. You will want to use Ghost and Dark type moves for this challenge.
Montenevera Gym - Location:
From Medali, you will want to leave from the north path. Up on the left you will see a trainer in the grass. He will have a level 30 Bergmite (Ice type). Next, further on the path is an Ultra Ball on the right, followed by a Burn Heal. Now further up on the left is the next trainer. He will have three level 35 Pokémon; an Altaria (Dragon/Flying type), Gogoat (Grass type), and Drednaw (Rock/Water type).
Next continuing on the path is a Revive on the right. Now cross the bridge and make a right, up the path. There will be another trainer, she will have a level 31 Whiscash (Ground/Water type). Following the path some more there is another trainer, he will have a level 38 Leafeon (Grass type) and a level 38 Farigiraf (Normal/Psychic type).
Now after this battle, go up some and you will see the path forking in two. You will want to head to the right, where there is another trainer for you to battle, with a level 37 Toxicroak (Fighting/Poison type), and a level 37 Clawitzer (Water type). Go up the path more picking up the X Attack, then there will be another trainer. He will have a level 36 Jolteon (Electric type).
After this battle, you can keep going forward and you should see a Pokémon Center. You can rest your Pokémon here if you need. From here you want to head northeast until you reach a trainer. He will have a level 36 Staraptor (Flying/Normal type). Then head towards the next trainer to the east. She will have three level 36 Pokemon. A Zoroark (Dark type), a Paldean Tauros (Fighting/Water type), and a Mismagius (Ghost type).
Now go northeast and you should see a path that slopes up the mountain. You will want to take that path up until you see a trainer on your right. She will have a level 41 Camerupt (Fire/Ground type), level 41 Dedenne (Electric/Fairy type), and level 42 Veluza(Water/Psychic type). Now keep following the slope and pick up the Max Potion. Then up some more there should be a Timer Ball. Now following the path again, you should now be heading west and see an Elixir followed by a trainer. He will have a level 36 Polteageist (Ghost type) and a level 36 Dudunsparce (Normal type).
Now you should be able to keep going and reach Montenevera. Make your way to the gym and head inside, speak to the person at the desk and start the gym test.
Montenevera Gym - Gym Test:
Make your way to the stage and speak to MC Sledge where you will have to perform some Double Battles. In order to pass this gym test, you need to win three battles consecutively. Remember, you will want to use Ghost/Dark type moves. All three trainers will use level 40 Pokémon.
The first trainer will have a Shuppet (Ghost type) and a Greavard (Ghost type). The second trainer will have a Haunter (Ghost/Poison type) and a Misdreavus (Ghost type). The third trainer (MC Sledge) will have a Sableye (Dark/Ghost type) and a Drifblim (Flying/Ghost type).
Once you have defeated all three trainers, you can challenge the gym leader Ryme. Go to the Pokémon Center and heal your Pokémon if you need to, then head back to the stage.
