Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Guide: Levincia Gym

The third gym on our list in this guide is the Levincia gym, an Electric type Gym. This gym is on the opposite side of the map than the last two previous missions we did. If you haven't already done so, make sure to complete the previous sections of this guide.

Levincia Gym - Preparations:

Before taking on this gym, you will want to ensure that your Pokemon are level 24 or above. Again, we are going off of our table from the beginning of this guide. The gym is an Electric type gym so that means you will want to use Ground and Rock type moves to easily beat this challenge.

Levincia Gym - Location:

As I mentioned before, this gym is on the other side of the map, so you will want to fly to Artazon East. From there, you will want to head out on the path, where you will run into a trainer. He will have a level 17 Mareanie (Poison/Water type). After that, you can pick up the Ether in the grass on the left. Then directly across from that on the other side of the path is a Great Ball. Now continue on the path until the next trainer. She will have a level 17 Slowpoke (Water/Psychic type).

After beating her, continue on the path until you reach the Pokémon Center, rest up if you need. Now continuing on the path, there is a Super Potion on the right by the cliff, then further up, a Great Ball on the left.

Then continue on the path, there is a Super Potion on the right by the edge again. On the left, there is Team Star Fire Crew, we will take that on a little later, for now continue on the path. Right past the Team Star Base is an Ether behind the tree on the left. Then continue until the road starts to turn towards a bridge. Right before that, on the left in the grass is a Net Ball. Then along the cliff on the right is an Energy Powder. Now cross the bridge to reach the Pokémon Center.

Rest up if you need, then get the TM138 Psychic Terrain under the tree next to the Pokémon Center. Now lets keep going on the path. On the right in the grass is a X Special Defense. Then on the other side of the path from that is a trainer. She will have a level 20 Alomomola (Water type). Then further up is a Super Potion on the left. Now at the bend in the road is another trainer and three Paralyze Heals. The trainer will have a level 20 Varoom (Poison/Steel type).

Now from here, head straight north into the grass towards a tree where you will find a Fire Stone. Then go back to the path and battle another trainer. He will have a level 21 Sandile (Dark/Ground type). Now take a right into the grass and you will see another trainer by the edge. She will have a level 21 Cubchoo (Ice type). Next head down the path some more and battle the last trainer on this path who will have a level 22 Klefki (Fairy/Steel type).

Now you have a choice, you can either head into Levincia town, or keep following along to pick up some more items and battle some more trainers. If you chose to go straight into the town, skip ahead to the Gym Test section of this page. Otherwise, from the last trainer we battled, head east and pick up the Super Potion by the tree. Then get the Pearl right before the sand starts.

Now head into the sand where another trainer awaits. He will have a level 22 Deerling (Normal/Grass type) and a level 22 Stantler (Normal type). Next, under the palm tree to the north is another Super Potion. Now you can head south east until to battle the last trainer on this part of the beach. She will have a level 26 Lokix (Bug/Dark type) and a level 26 Rufflet (Normal/Flying type).

After beating her, it's time to mount your Koraidon/Miraidon and cross the water to the beach right across. here you can battle another trainer. She will have a level 20 Shellos (Water type). Then go up the slope south west, following the river. On the left side, there will be an Antidote and a Super Potion. On the right, there will be another Super Potion and a trainer. The trainer will have three Pokémon all level 23. A Kirlia (Psychic/Fairy type), a Zangoose (Normal type), and a Noibat (Flying/Dragon type). Right next to him is an Ether. Now across from the trainer are two more items. A Dire Hit and a Poke Ball.

Keep heading south west and pick up the Potions, then head straight towards the river and you should see an item by the cliff, a Great Ball. Now go back to the Pokémon Center next to you to rest up. Once you are ready, you can head into Levincia town. At the Pokémon Center, you cant talk to the Pokémon League Rep to get your reward.

Levincia Gym - Gym Test:

From the Pokemon Center, head straight north along the road. The gym will be on the right side. As you are entering, you will get a call from Nemona and she will meet you there and challenge you to a battle. She will have a level 21 Rockruff (Rock type), level 21 Pawmi (Electric type), and a level 22 Starter Pokemon based on your choice of Starter. Once you defeat her, she will give you 3 Full Heals and you can now start the Gym Test. The Gym Test will have you looking for Mr. Walksabout.

Once you go outside, Iono the gym leader, will talk to you about the Gym Test, where you will learn that you have to go and find Director Clavell at different locations throughout town. You will be show surveillance footage where you will have to find Director Clavell hiding somewhere in the footage. Upon doing so, you will have to battle a trainer. You have to do this 3 times.

For the first one, Director Clavell is on the right side at one of the tables with the umbrellas. The trainer will have a level 22 Luxio (Electric Type).

The second location for Director Clavell will be inside the Pokémon Center. The trainer you will have to battle will have a level 22 Tynamo (Electric type) and a level 22 Flaaffy (Electric type).

The third and final location for Director Clavell will be on the boat on the right of the battle court. The last trainer will actually be the gym leader Iono. You don't have to go right into the battle, you will spawn back at the gym counter and you can go heal your Pokemon or do some more training if you need. Then, head to the battle court to challenge Iono.

Levincia Gym - Gym Leader Iono:

Iono will have four Pokémon, a level 22 Wattrel (Flying/Electric type), a level 23 Luxio (Electric type), a level 23 Bellibolt (Electric type) and a level 23 Mismagius (Ghost type). Once you have defeated Iono, it is time to collect your reward!

Levincia Gym - Reward:

Along with your gym badge, she will give you TM48 Volt Switch. She will also tell you that you can now control Pokémon up to level 35. You will also meet Geeta in the gym lobby, who is the Chairwoman of the Pokémon League. That is all for the Levincia Gym, time to head back up the path some and take on Team Star Fire Crew.
