As mentioned in the last part of the guide, only the final missions of each pathway remain. You can do them in any order, but for this guide I will do them in the order that they are listed in the table from the beginning part of this guide.
The Pokémon League - Preparations:
The recommended level to be before taking on the Pokémon League is level 62. During this challenge you will have to take on the four members of the Elite Four and then the Top Champion. Each of them will specialize in Pokémon of a certain type therefore they all have various recommended types to use against them. Look at each section for each member below to see which types to use.
The Pokémon League - Location:
You will want to fly to Mesagoza then head to the northwest corner of the town. Then go up the stairs and through a set of gates that lead into a tunnel. Once on the other side, you should see a Pokémon Center. There are also two trainers you can take on here. The first one should be a breeze with a level 14 Meowth (Normal type). The second one will have a level 56 Krookodile (Dark/Ground type), a level 56 Bronzong (Psychic/Steel type), and a level 56 Ceruledge (Fire/Ghost type). Heal your Pokémon at the Pokémon Center then head to the entrance of the League and talk to Geeta. Before being able to take on the Elite Four, you have to pass the Champion Assessment.
The Pokémon League - Champion Assessment:
This is a series of question that you must answer correctly in order to pass. Here are all the questions along with the correct answers:
How did you get here today? Any answer works.
What Academy are you enrolled in? Naranja for Scarlet and Uva for Violet.
What brings you to the Pokémon League today? I came to become Champion.
What do you intend to do if and when you become a Champion? Any answer works but remember which one you pick.
Which of the eight gyms gave you the most difficulty? Any works, if you want to make it easy without remembering I suggest Medali Gym.
What is the name of the Gym Leader you faced there? Choose based on your answer to question 5, if you chose my suggestion, the name is Larry.
What type of Pokémon did the Gym Leader use? Choose based on your answer to question 5, if you chose my suggestion, the answer is Normal type.
What was the category of the Pokémon you chose to be your first partner? Choose based on your starter Pokémon.
Remind me, what do you intend to do if and when you do become Champion? Choose the same answer as question 4.
Do you like Pokémon? Yes.
Once you have passed the Assessment, you can start the Elite Test where you have to battle the Elite Four. You have to defeat them all one after the other but you will have time in between each battle to heal your Pokémon (using medicine, not a Pokémon Center) and move your Pokémon around to prepare for the next battle.
The Pokémon League - Elite Four Rika:
The first member of the Elite Four that you have to take on is Rika. Her Pokémon will be weak to Grass, Ground, Ice, and Psychic type moves. She will have a level 57 Whiscash (Water/Ground type), level 57 Camerupt (Fire/Ground type), level 57 Donphan (Ground type), level 57 Dugtrio (Ground type), and a level 58 Clodsire (Ground type).
She will use her Tera Orb on her last Pokémon, Clodsire. For Whiscash and Donphan use Grass type moves. For Camerupt, use Water or Ground type moves. For Dugtrio, use Grass type moves. And finally for Clodsire, you will want to use either Grass or Ice type moves. Careful if you use a Grass type Pokémon here as Clodsire can use Poison type attacks.
The Pokémon League - Elite Four Poppy:
Now it is time to take on Poppy, the next member of the Elite Four. Heal your Pokémon and then start the battle whenever you are ready. Her Pokémon will be weak to Dark, Electric, Fire, Fighting, Ghost, and Ground type moves. She will use a level 58 Copperajah (Steel type), level 58 Corviknight (Steel/Flying type), level 58 Magnezone (Electric/Steel type), level 58 Bronzong (Steel/Psychic type), and a level 59 Tinkaton (Steel/Fairy type).
For Copperajah, you will want to use Fire, Ground, or Fighting moves. Corviknight is weak to Electric and Fire moves while Magnezone is weak to Fire, Ground, or Fighting moves. Bronzong is also weak to Fire and Ground and being a Psychic type, is also weak to Dark and Ghost moves. As you can see, all her Pokémon are weak to Fire so that might be a safe bet. Now Tinkaton is her last Pokémon which she will Terastalize. It is weak to Fire, Ground, and Fighting type attacks.
The Pokémon League - Elite Four Larry:
Next up is Larry, but wait we have faced him before haven't we? Well yes he is also the Medali Gym Leader but he will much tougher when battling for the Elite Four. Heal your Pokémon if you need to then start the battle.
All of his Pokémon will be Flying types. He will have a level 59 Tropius (Grass/Flying type), level 59 Altaria (Dragon/Flying type), level 59 Staraptor (Normal/Flying type), level 59 Oricorio (Fire/Flying type), and a level 60 Flamigo (Fighting/Flying type).
For Tropius, you want to use Rock, Fire, Ice, or Fighting moves. Against Altaria, use Dragon, Rock, Ice, and Fairy moves. You can use Rock, Electric, or Ice moves for the rest of his team but Rock is your best bet. Flamigo will be Terastalized, still use Rock, Electric, and Ice moves.
The Pokémon League - Elite Four Hassel:
Hassel is the last member of the Elite Four. His Pokémon are weak to Ice, Fairy, and Dragon type moves. He will have a level 60 Noivern (Flying/Dragon type), a level 60 Flapple (Grass/Dragon type), a level 60 Haxorus (Dragon type), a level 60 Dragalge (Poison/Dragon type), and a level 61 Baxcalibur (Dragon/Ice type).
All his Pokémon are weak to Dragon and Ice type moves. Hassel with use his Tera Orb on Baxcalibur. Again use Dragon or Ice type moves.
The Pokémon League - Top Champion Geeta:
After beating all the Elite Four, it is time to battle Geeta. Rika will heal your Pokemon before the battle. For the battle against her, you will want to use Dark, Ghost, Fighting, Ground, Electric, Fire, and Water type attacks. Unlike the Elite Four and the Gym Leaders, she won't have a pattern of Pokemon types. Her team will be much more varied.
She will have a level 61 Espartha (Psychic type), level 61 Kingambit (Dark/Steel type), level 61 Avalugg (Ice type), level 61 Gogoat (Grass type), level 61 Veluza (Water/Psychic type), and a level 62 Glimmora (Rock/Poison type).
For Espartha, use Bug, Ghost, or Dark type moves. For Kingambit, use Fighting, Ground, and Fire moves. Avalugg will be weak to Fire moves, Gogoat is weak to Fire, Flying, and Ice type moves. Next is Veluza who is weak to Electric, Dark, and Ghost type moves. Finally is Glimmora, who she will Terastalize. Use Water, Steel, Fighting, Ground, or Grass type moves here.
After the winning the battle, you will be taken back to the entrance where Nemona will want to battle you but will give you time to rest and train some more. You can battle her when you are ready at Mesagoza. Read one of the next sections to learn more about this battle.
