Welcome to my gaming blog! I have been gaming for about 18 years and I am excited to share my thoughts and experiences with you. Stay tuned for game reviews, tips, guides, and more.

My very first console was the Nintendo DS lite when I was a little kid. I would play games like Pokémon and FIFA. Then as time went on I got the DSi and a Wii. Then when I was 10, I got my first Xbox. It was the Xbox 360 which I actually still have and it still works! I also bought a PS3 a few years later which I got to play with one of my friends but I quickly sold it as I didn't use it much.

Once the Xbox one came out, I got me one of those. And then when I was 17 I finally got myself my first PC and let me tell you, I am never going back! I have been PC gaming ever since. I also have a Nintendo Switch for when I'm going somewhere for a few days.

As far as the types of games I've played over the years, like I said I started out playing mostly Pokémon and FIFA on the DS. I played many games on the Wii but mostly Mario Kart, the infamous Wii Sports (what a time that was), FIFA of course, and probably some other games but I don't quite remember.

Then when I got my first Xbox, that's when I really started gaming. I started playing Call of Duty every day. And yes, you guessed it, I still played FIFA. I played many single player story games too as well as racing games. I really liked Need for Speed: The Run, still one of my favorite from the series. But most importantly, this was my first time playing online and with random people.

When Black Ops 1 came out, I played Search and Destroy with my best friend almost every night, grinding for that master prestige and just having a blast. Then when Black Ops 2 came out, that was one of the best times of my life. I played that game for years, I still play it now sometimes.

The reason I loved it so much is because not only was it a great game, but it was also great for trickshotting. If you don't know what that is, I recommend you click on the link to my YouTube channel at the bottom of the page and check out some of the montages I made. That should give you a great example but basically it involved using a sniper rifle and jumping off of a high area and spinning into the air and trying to hit someone. At the time it was very popular and as people started doing it more and started sharing their clips online, teams started to form. Now keep in mind this had been going on since Modern Warfare 2 but I never really got introduced to it until Black Ops 2.

One of those teams is Faze Clan, which if you are a gamer you most likely have heard of them. Anyways, long story short, I started grinding for clips and trying to join teams and eventually after having been part of a few teams, I joined a team called Arch Eternity. This was a small team that you probably never heard of and we didn't make it very far in terms of following but we had a great time.

After joining, I quickly went from a regular member to one of the leaders of the team. And as a matter of fact, I still play with 3 of the members almost every day. One of the founders is actually my roommate now. It's crazy to think that it all started from spinning in a circle on a video game in 2012, 12 years ago.

So anyways, after playing Xbox for about 7-8 years and playing every Call of Duty, and lots of other games like Minecraft, Rocket League, Need for Speed, Forza Horizon, Halo, and more, it was time to move on to the big league, PC gaming.

PC gaming changed my life. I was always pretty good with computers and I used one all the time when I gamed on console because I was always recording for clips or trying to make YouTube videos. But getting my first gaming PC changed everything. I was able to hone all my content creation skills and other computer skills. This actually led to me majoring in Computer Science and getting my Bachelors.

But other than the benefits of being to use a high performance computer for learning how to code and using Adobe products, let's not forget why we got this thing. I had never played on mouse and keyboard before so that took a big adjustment. I would say that it took about 6 months to actually get really comfortable playing on m&k. Now, I wouldn't be able to go back.

If you're wondering what kind of games I play now on PC, well I still have Call of Duty but I don't play it so much anymore as it's just not what it used to be. I play Rocket League, Counter-Strike, Valorant, Escape from Tarkov, PUBG, and more. I also started getting into sim racing a few years back as I am very much into cars. I bought myself a Logitech G-920 and started out on Forza Horizon 4 where it was a big learning curve and for about a year now I have been playing Assetto Corsa. I even bought a gear shifter and a handbrake for my setup. If you like racing games and have a PC that can handle it, I highly recommend checking out getting a sim setup, it is so much fun.

And as of a month ago, I got myself a VR headset and have been diving into that world with friends. It is incredible! We play lots of different games, from mini golf, to first person shooters, and I even started playing Assetto Corsa in VR with my sim setup and that is truly an immersive experience.

So that sums up this quick overview of my whole gaming journey so far and I thank you for reading this far! I hope you will enjoy the contents of my blog and don't hesitate to reach out! I would love to hear your gaming journey!
